Prusa Mini – MINDA adjustment
During 4 months of using my printer I gradually lowered the Z-adjust until I hit rock bottom. -2.000 is too high for me and the prints are in constant danger of detaching. What can I do? I don't quite understand this guide
Should I lower the probe relative to nozzle tip or heighen it?
RE: Prusa Mini – MINDA adjustment
I would be concerned as to why the Live Z is changing... but that is not the question being asked.
the difference in height between the Nozzle and the minda should be adjustable during assemble, but relatively 'fixed' durig use.
the minda estimates a distance between it's tip and the build plate and then live Z adjusts the nozzle closer to the build plate, from the position the Minda sensed. if you have to move the nozzle too far, to get a good first layer then the tip of the minda is too close in relative height to the tip of the nozzle.
I suggest that you first of all, reset your live Z value to 0.00mm (to prevent damage to the build plate during adjustment)
then readjust minda height upwards by one click(one thread) or one rotation anticlockwise, looking from the top (this should raise the minda by one millimetre)
then readjust live Z.

@joantabb
Many thanks for your reply! I have now a perfect live z value of 1,070 after turning the probe about once, as expected.
