Prints lean forward slightly

I have just upgraded my printer to the R2 electronics box and I have noticed that my prints lean forward slightly, by about 1.5 degrees. I can't see anyway of adjusting the angle of the z-axis in the the y direction. Does anyone have an ideas how I can fix this?

I have the same problem. Haven't got time to look at it.

Maybe an 90 degree angle between the z axis and the hotbed part of the printer will help.

Maybe the screws in the electrical box have loosend itself.

A curious aspect of the Mini design is that the base is not flat, the electrical box is lower than the frame. This would seem to apply a twisting torque particularly to the Z axis. The cantilever design in general is very prone to lack of squareness.

Possibly removing the rubber foot from the electrical box, loosening the 3 screws holding it to the frame, and readjusting until it is square, but not a very easy adjustment.

Bency and two other prints were going fine. Started the fourth one and have ran into this issue ever since. Not sure what to do

Hmm, could be issue with Y pulley not tight or sticky bearing.

I had this.. It was the grub screw on the Y-Axis pully... Check they are tight...

Its a bit fiddly to do as you have to line up the screw with the hole in the motor mount and then put an allen key through.. Also bear in mind there are TWO screws.. It only takes a matter of seconds to check and it may entirly solve your problem.

I contacted support a couple of minutes ago and I can't believe I didn't think of that. Not only was the grub screw not aligned but both of them were very loose. I'm so glad it wasn't the firmware

Yeah but, on the Mini, Prusa are supposed to pre-assemble and test before shipping.

Its a common problem unfortunately.. Not sure how they could get it wrong when they build it.. Anyone who has built a 3D printer before knows how important it is to get the grub screws on the motor pullys tight.. Its one of the most common problems that people suffer with.

I can't father how someone like Prusa could make this mistake.. If it were a one off I would understand, but it was like this on my Mini and I know of others who were the same..

In my case I was so sure they wouldn't and couldn't have got it wrong, I didn't even check.. And when someone suggested i did, I literally ignored them as it was such a stupid suggestion.. But mine were loose and my prints "leaned" from right to left.. And as soon as I tightened them, the prints were perfect.

So if anyone has any kind of 'leaning' or layer shift.. Check the grub screws.. Infact, even if you have no problems, check them anyway.

The grub screws are tight on my machine. The issue seems to be that the z axis is about 1.5 degrees off square in the Y direction. It is square with the bed in the x direction. Unfortunately mesh bed leveling can compensate for this.
