PLA PETG sticks to bed too much smooth/satin Mini+
Hi,
I've printed now over > 500h and noticed something strange I can't explain or find a reason for it.
PLA starts to stick to the smooth sheet so hard, the ground layer of the print comes off when I pull it off.. or even stays on the sheet when I bend it.
This didn't happen for the first 50 prints or so and I cleaned it every time with 99% IPA or soap water.. never had any problems. Is there some coating which comes off after a certain amount of time? I bought a second one and there is now the same behavior.
Prusament PLA, BioFusion used.
Same for PETG with the satin sheet.
I tried all the suggestions from the manual, even sandpapered it a bit.. but this "original" nice behavior never came back.
Any advice?
RE: PLA PETG sticks to bed too much smooth/satin Mini+
For PETG, I use a combination of Elmers School Glue Stick (the kind that is pink when wet), and then Windex. I draw a couple circles on the bed, spray it with Windex and mix with a Kimwipe for an even light pink, let dry and print. For parts with a large area on the sheet, I use more glue stick. For small parts, I use less. They always come off. I do clean the sheet with soap, water and then Isopropyl Alcohol and then Acetone once in a while to get off the residue you can see from past prints.
I don't do much PLA, so no suggestions there.

Mark
