Odd Misalignment of Y-Axis
I've had my little mini + for about two years now and normally use if for smaller prints. Today I wanted to print something closer to its max size, at least on the Y-Axis.
However when it started I noticed something strange. In PrusaSlicer, it shows the first pre-extrusion to be before the print area. When my machine prints, its inside the print area, which it's done for as long as I can remember. Also, and more importantly, the brim that outlines where the part is going to be is too far towards the back, and on this model causes the hotend to hit the studs that align the steel sheet.
I've checked to make sure everything is how it should. Bearings are ok, belt is not overly loose or tight and the Y-Axis' rods seem pretty square.
What could be causing this and how do I fix it. Is it firmware or something simple I'm overlooking?
Here's some pictures/screenshots I took that might help.
Please save your project as a .3mf file
Files > Save Project as
Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.
Cheerio,

Here's the 3mf file. I'm pretty sure this is some weird firmware/hardware issue but a issue with the slicer's file honestly wouldn't surprise me.
RE: Odd Misalignment of Y-Axis
hmm looks like there is no attachment
See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.
RE: Odd Misalignment of Y-Axis
Huh. Seems the file attachment isn't wanting to work.
Try this instead;

That's not playing either ...
*Zip* the .3mf and post it here.

So don't use the "attach file" button at the bottom. Odd.
This should work now, worked for me when previewing the reply.
.3mf
That one arrived OK. The attach button works but is very picky about file types.
There is nothing obviously wrong with the project - 'though you do get within a millimetre of the edge which doesn't leave much room to manouvre - I suggest you disable the skirt which will ease the fit.
Then try printing just the first couple of layers (or start a regular print and standby to abort) and see if your hotend is clear.

Gotcha. Just seemed the y axis is a bit too far down when homing somehow. I'm sure I'll just have to work around it
