Nozzle X Underextruding

So i recently bought a genuine E3D Nozzle X 0.4mm. Upon installation, i was able to do the sheet calibration, but for printing PLA (only tried PLA so far with this nozzle) useing prusament PLA settings, It unterextrudes. I tried bumping the temperature up 5 and 10 degrees to simmilar results. On another forum, I was informed that the steel nozzle may need more time to come to temperature.

I'm not very framiliar with start g-codes, but is there a way to have the printer preheat to printing temperature after doing its leveling sequence and hold that temperature for say 3 minutes.

Or does anyone else have any input on useing a Nozzle X on the prusa Mini?

You can add a G4 Sx command into your startup gcode, with x being time in seconds.

You hear from plenty of people who are very happy with the Nozzle X. In my hands, I found it to be too temperamental and switched to tungsten carbide.

Just to be sure, you did tell Prusa Slicer that you're not using a 0.4mm nozzle?

I did double check for the 0.4 nozzle, both on the slicer and nozzle. I just did a temperature towrr starting at 240, in 5° incraments. It did mediocre at 235-230, but was still very weak. Its like i have a clog perhaps, but does the print sheet calibration ok. :S.

Though a clog is possible, i would be suprised as i havent really run into clogs very often and this filament prints just fine with the stock nozzle.

Could it be that the coating on my nozzle may be restricting the flow?

It's possible to get a first sheet calibration but have a clogged nozzle.  If you have filament up in the heat break underneath the PTFE tube you get a few minutes of printing before heat creeps up and starts melting the plastic and causing a problem.  In the instructions for replacing the PTFE tubing I had a problem with step 7, couldn't quite get the plastic out.

Wouldnt that mean i would have heat creep when i switch back to my stock nozzle. Which i dont seem to be having any troubles with, only when I try useing the Nozzle X.
