New Mini won't reach temp
Just finished putting my new mini together. All test pass except it fails to reach temp on the hot end. Highest temp reached is 160c before it fails.
I have e-mailed tech support but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Log into your online estore account and contact support via chat there. Email is very slow and irregular, mostly used for follow-ups. Initial contact via chat tends to be very fast and helpful.
This may sound silly but... Did you wait? The nozzle is only heated to 160C as a no-ooze measure for mesh bed leveling. After that, it should come up to full temperature. Some users have had problems though, so definitely contact support. You paid the Prusa premium so get that Prusa support!

Do you get an error message when you try to heat the nozzle to 280 degrees C. or does it stop heating at 160 degrees C.?

I get an error saying it failed self test. Hot end doesn't reach temp. I have checked all the connectors on the main board and everything seems ok.
The temp starts to flash blue when it gets to 160. I've tried multiple times but it still fails.

I have also noticed that I can heat the hot end to full temp and the bed to temperature using the temp control in the configuration menu. Also I have tried to flash the firmware to see if that would fix it but it won't find the file on the USB stick. Strange

You can download the latest firmware here and copy it to the USB stick. Plug the sticker into the printer USB port. After you turn on the printer, it will ask you if you want to flash the firmware:

I had a web chat with support and after running through some tests, they are sending me a new board.
