MinTemp Error
Prusa Mini running with 4.4.1 and Bondtech Extruder & Heatbreak. It's a cold morning with temps around 6 degrees C.
Overnight I completed a long print, and the Mini had cooled down to ambient by early morning with the print successfully finishing. I went to start another print, and when I selected "Print" the Mini reset, and I had the following message "MINTRMP ERROR Check the print head thermistor wiring for possible damage". I've not seen this before and my very busy Mini has been rock solid reliable for ages.
Any hints pease......
RE: MinTemp Error
Check the thermistor wires on the heat block and at main board and make sure ther not touching
Please help me out by downloading a model it's free and easy but really helps me out https://www.printables.com/@Hello_474427/models
RE: MinTemp Error
Warm the hotend up above where the mintemp error occurs and then start the print.
Possible options:
- Take the printer somewhere warmer
- Warm the environment it's in (maybe make a chamber out of a cardboard box and only warm that part of the room)
- Use something to warm to the hotend (hair dryer, warm fingers, red-hot branding iron (kidding!)) to the point where the error stops
