Mini+ won't take PETG
Howdy!
Just got a Mini+, settings all seem fine and dandy, done a few test prints, all good. Since they're both recommended for beginners, I got both PLA and PETG to play with.
Anyway, while the drive gears grab onto PLA plastic fine, no problem, when I try to load in my PETG, it seems like the filament can't get past the gears, and so never gets to the extruder - any help? Tried loosening the screw under the PTFE tube you feed it through, but it doesn't seem to have worked.
It's Prusament PETG Neon Green Transparent, if that helps at all (maybe it's some quality of transparent filament?).
RE: Mini+ won't take PETG
With the Mini's extruder it's all about finding the right tension on the idler screw. If loosening doesn't help, try tightening. The only upgrade to the Mini I recommend without any reservation is the Bondtech extruder (or the Trianglelab clone). Never had to change the idler tension again after adding it to my Minis.

RE: Mini+ won't take PETG
Hi there! Sorry for the late response, but it really was as simple as that! I initially over-tightened the idler screw and had to take it apart to free the filament from the gears, but after that, it worked A-okay! I forgot to respond because I've been printing and tinkering with the machine a lot in the past couple of weeks since your reply. Thanks a ton!
