MINDA probe failed

So after waiting months for my Mini to arrive, I find that the MINDA probe not working when I tested the assembled printer 🙁 The printer could not detect the heat bed and there was no LED lighting up on the probe.

So I have contacted Prusa Support, but after nearly 10 days they still haven't sent out a new probe.

Therefore, does anyone have the part number of the probe and the wiring to the 4-pin Molex connector (there are 3 wires). It might be quicker to make my own leaded probe up or buy one from a third party??

Thanks in advance

John

RE: MINDA probe failed

Hi John,

I don't have access to a Mini, but here is a picture from the spares page

it appears to be wired similar to this Pinda cable,

with the exception of the white wire (thermistor), as use on the mk3 printer

I expect you could check this on your printer.....
whilst checking, make sure the cable is firmly installed and all wires are properly  inserted into the plug.

Thanks Joan

Well it looks like wiring to the connector was incorrect!!!

I removed the pins and mirrored the connections and it now works perfectly ! So they were obviously wired up incorrectly in the first place??

- I wonder how many other people have been effected??
