Measured temperature not matching expected value with new hot end
Hello
I have had my mini for years now, and finally purchased a new assembled hot end in the middle of June. I replaced the old one and attached the wires as instructed. I have never updated the firmware, heh, by the way. It seems to print OK (certainly better than my old hot end which was old and crudded up). However, it occasionally blows the circuit breaker, but I am unclear on the circumstances in which that happens.
Today I updated to the latest firmware, and see this message "Not Matching/measured temperature is not matching the expected value. Check the thermistor is in contact with the hot end. In case of damage replace it". Well, I do see that the measured temperature goes up when I ask the mini to increase the hot end temp, so I do think it is connected. It certainly looks like the thermistor is firmly in the hot end block. But maybe not reading the correct temp? Suggestions on what to try at this point?
RE: Measured temperature not matching expected value with new hot end
if its blowing the circuit breaker try check make sure there are no sparks or wires touching in the buddy box
