Immediate X Axis test failure
Hi all,
I just finished building my Mini+ from a kit, but I'm struggling to resolve an error during the selftest.
When the axis test starts, it auto homes, moves the print head all the way to the right, then all the way to the left, and immediately fails. I've already searched the knowledge base and the forums a bit and not found anything that helped. I have the newest firmware, there's nothing blocking the movement physically, the belt isn't loose.
I'm new to 3D printing, so I have no idea what this could be.

Check the gear on the X-axis stepper motor. Probably a little loose. The set screw has to seat on the FLAT part of the shaft. Even a tiny bit of play can cause the wizard to fail the axis testing. Make sure the gear is tight, and maybe add a small drop of blue loctite (NOT RED.)
I have seen this happen to a ton of people, and 9/10 it's a loose belt gear on the stepper motor.

Guide for this answer
I'm experiencing the same issue on my prusa mini. How would I check this? Is there an available assembly/disassembly guide for this check?
Answered my own question here's the guide.
