Fried Buddy Board

I was cleaning my printer nozzle with a brass brush while it was on like a moron, and shorted the two heater wires. Quick spark, and then a dead printer. Fuses are fine and nothing seems charred on the board, so I'm wondering if anyone more familiar with the board's design would know if anything small would fail, like a resistor or diode, before those 40W made its way to the processor. Also, I found schematics for the board quite easily, but I was wondering if anyone could point me to a boardview, which shows not just the connections between components but also their physical placement on the board?

Thanks.

RE: Fried Buddy Board

Had the same issue happen when the thermistor cable shorted. After it happened the printer still worked, but it couldn't complete the hot end temperature test because the reading from that thermistor was too high by about 30 degrees C. I've tracked it down to the diode labeled D14 on the dwarf board that goes between the pin and ground.

I know this is an old post, but thought I'd add if someone in the future has the same problem.
