First Layer Calibration with 0,6 Nozzle
I updated my firmware to 6.0 today and was presented with a message to please run tests and calibration before printing. This reminded me that the build in calibration routines so not support nozzle sizes other than the standard 0,4. As a potential feature upgrade, how about extending the build in calibrations for other common sizes. I do have my own calibration part and can successfully use it but the built in one is better and much more convenient.
RE: First Layer Calibration with 0,6 Nozzle
My impression is that this changed around the input shaper FW versions, in the sense that the built-in first layer calibration now respects what is set as nozzle size in the hardware menu? Anyways, I stopped using my manually prepared 1st layer files for non-0.4 nozzle sizes around that time and had zero problems since, but tbh I was unable to verify if my impression is correct. (And of course, the Prusa online documentation is more like... opinions, breadcrumbs dropped at different points of time, frozen for eternity…)
