Firmware 4.4.0 causes preheat error with E3D's Revo Micro
E3D's Revo Micro uses a 2-wire fan. The new firmware 4.4.0 doesn't take this into account. After printing the 1st layer the printer reboots and throws a preheat error. No printing is possible. I had to downgrade to 4.3.4 again.
RE: Firmware 4.4.0 causes preheat error with E3D's Revo Micro
Hi Frog,
please finish at least one print on 4.3.4 to make sure the problem is in the fan. Then start an issue here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/issues/new/choose
Once the developers have their hands free, they will take a look at it.

RE: Firmware 4.4.0 causes preheat error with E3D's Revo Micro
I did several (normal) prints after downgrading the firmware. I already added an issue here: https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware/issues/3798
RE: Firmware 4.4.0 causes preheat error with E3D's Revo Micro
I solved this problem by changing the standard E3D-2-wire-fan to this type: SUNON GM0503PEB1-8 (3-wire) ( https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005003238233642.html).
I printed a new fan holder similar to the E3D-fan holder but with adapted dimensions to accommodate the new fan.
After that I installed the 4.4.0-firmware successfully.
