Firmware 4.3.4 + Bootloader 1.1.0 update to 4.4.1
I am currently using firmware 4.3.4 and bootloader 1.1.0.
I copied the new firmware 4.4.1 to the original Prusa USB stick, reset the Mini and no new firmware is found and the Mini boots with 4.3.4.
Where is the error?

Did you copy both files?

Yes, both files are on the usb-stick!
RE: Firmware 4.3.4 + Bootloader 1.1.0 update to 4.4.1
I have exactly the same problem.
I was on 4.3.3 and could not upgrade to 4.4.0 or 4.4.1.
I upgraded to 4.3.4 but it still does not prompt for an upgrade to either 4.4.0 or 4.4.1 after reset (only one version on USB at a time, both buddy and buddy_update_pre files).
If I try to force a firmware update by pressing the control knob after restart I have an error that the firmware file is an invalid size. I have tried this using 4 different USB sticks, one of them freshly formatted, all using FAT32.

Well I think I've solved it.
Based on an issue over at https://github.com/prusa3d/Prusa-Firmware-Buddy/issues/2862
I put a USB in with only the Buddy_update_pre file, it automatically prompted for firmware update.
After it loaded that file it prompted 'Looking for bbf', I just swapped the usb to one with the larger Buddy file on it and it started loading it, no reset required.
Now running 4.4.1 and bootloader 2.0.2
Hope that helps.

Many THANKS Luckephil
It works 🙂

Thank you @luckephil! I was trying to go from 4.3.4 to latest 5.1.2 and was getting nowhere. Taking your advice I used the Buddy_pre from the 4.4.1 update and then was able to flash 5.1.2.
