Firmware 4.0.3 Flashing Problem

I have significant problems flashing the new firmware. No matter from which computer - there is a timeout error. What am I doing wrong? The Prusa Doku is really bad at the moment.

I have the current alpha from Slicer, want to do the flash from there. As a cable I take the same cable I use to connect the Prusa with Octoprint (assuming it works) and I plug it into the Micro-USB port.

avrdude-slic3r -v -p atmega2560 -c wiring -P COM3 -b 115200 -D -U flash:w:0:C:\Users\finar\Downloads\prusa3d_fw_MINI_4_0_3.bbf:i

avrdude-slic3r: Version 6.3-20160220-prusa3d, compiled on Feb 9 2020 at 11:15:02

Using Port : COM3
Using Programmer : wiring
Overriding Baud Rate : 115200
avrdude-slic3r: stk500v2_recv(): timeout
avrdude-slic3r: stk500v2_getsync(): timeout communicating with programmer
avrdude-slic3r: Could not open port: COM3

avrdude-slic3r done. Thank you.

Load the firmware file into USB stick into root directory, plug the stick in, turn printer on. When it sees newer image during boot, it will ask you if you want to proceed with flashing. I don't think flashing through slicer or Octoprint is working.

avrdude is for ATmega based boards, Mini uses an STM32 processor, so that will not work for Mini. Note sure if Mini even has serial download capability.

Thanks - that's it! I didn't know its working like this. I copyied the firmware on a USB but nothing happened. I didn't know it would be checked at boot. Worked perfectly, thanks 👍
