Filament Sensor Turning Off by itself in menu

Hello,

Is anyone else having/had trouble with the filament sensor turning itself off? By that I mean I have set it to on and know that it's working however it then seems to turn its self off in the menu. I know it's doing this because when I do a filament swap, I do not get the message that is triggered by the filament sensor saying make sure filament is inserted

It seems a bit pointless if it's going to turn itself off without me knowing!

Any solution?

Sensor turn off

Does it happen with every swap?  What firmware are you using?  I will check tonight but I am not sure I have seen this.

To be honest I'm not sure when it does it, I just happen to notice when I have to do a filament swap. Luckily times where it's happened is when the filament isn't low but I just don't want it to run out whilst printing and not be detected.

I'm using stock firmware,  4.3.2

It seems it's not saving my settings. I'm not sure how/why it would change from yes to no in the menu once set

Thanks for the response

Suggestion

I would turn it on and Do another filament swap and see.  If it does not, it was a fluke and i would not worry about it.

User Error

Ok, I feel stupid now

I've just realised it was my fault...

If inserting the USB stick without filament loaded it gives the warning message about it not being loaded, I must've pressed ignore which disables the sensor...

At least it's now solved!
