Filament (PLA) won't load, or extrusion stops mid print
Hey all,
I'm at a loss here. I haven't been able to get filament to load for some time now, other than twice. Those two times attempting to print an approximately hour long print, at the 20-30 minute mark extrusion has stopped completely.
When attempting to load the filament, it won't even enter the extruder. I've completely taken it apart twice, cleaned the gears, ensured proper alignment, adjusted the tension on the idler to just about every possible position, tried different spools of PLA and I'm at a loss. I have also ensured there are no clogs in the print head, so that shouldn't explain why it stopped extruding.
Any ideas on what to try next, or anyone who experienced this and was able to solve it?

Is the printer in an enclosure?
has the ambient temperature risen?
if yes, you could be suffering Heat CREEP
