Filament not loading all the way

Heyo, So I've been using my MINI for at least a year now, and had plenty of fixes, however I'm currently running into a new problem.  It was working just the other night, however over night (when I wasn't watching it) the filament got tangled and so the printer stopped printing.  After unloading the filament, it now doesn't push the filament all the way to the hotend from the gear box.  it gets about 1/3rd of the way there, but then t thinks that it's at the extruder and starts trying to purge.  if you try to load it multiple times to get it to the extruder, it under extrudes, no surprise there.  Any ideas what could cause this?  I've tried making sure the gear isn't loaded with filament debris.

RE:

The so called long load works in the way you have tu push the filament to gear at the same time you push the continue. The length of the filament is calculated multiplying the number of gear turns by diameter. So when you start push the filament later into the gear it will pull shorter length.

If the extruder ground the filament it could have filled the grooves with dust and now it can't grip filament correctly.  Take a look at this guide, https://help.prusa3d.com/en/guide/how-to-access-and-clean-the-extruder-pulley-mini-mini_126457 particularly step 9.

Thanks for the heads up.  I checked the Gears already, however it started working again, so I think it's all good
