Factory USB drive won't stay mounted on printer- crashes, failed prints
Our Mini arrived this week; on assembly, we successfully applied firmware 4.05 using the included 8GB USB drive, but attempting to complete a print of any of the sample models on the drive failed. Sometimes the printer would hang while selecting the file, before showing a "No USB" message; other times a print would start and fail 5-180 minutes later with "No USB". I finally grabbed a different 8GB USB drive and copied the files to it and it's printed beautifully for two days. Pretty sure Prusa should look at the USB drives they are shipping for quality, because this could present as a bad board. Ultimately we want to be printing via Ethernet (or Octoprint in the short term), but if the "initial setup" drive is bad, users are going to have a bad experience.

I had the same issue with mine I got last week.

Have you tried using a different USB stick?

Same issue. Print just stops mid print and then nothing happens. When I remove the USB drive the display tells me that there is a problem with the USB drive (obviously) and then I reinsert it and hit resume after which it resumes printing.
I experienced this 3 times already with two prints stopping on 2-3 seemingly random layers since firmware 4.4.0 was released. I will now try a different USB drive and not the original one.

I believe, they just have quality issues with the USB. I had to also use a different USB drive, as the default one would sporadically stop working.
