Extruder Play
Can anyone tell me if this is normal? No matter how much I try (without overtightening), I can't get the extruder to not rock up and down on the X-Axis bars. I beleive its Step 61 in the guide and while I can get all the screws to bite, I can't eliminate the movement and its causing (I think) print failures.
As far as I can tell, the bearings are tight, its the just assembly around it where there is movement, and it seems the bottom is loose, not the top.
Thanks.

Yeah no matter what I did it wouldn't embed, but you can copy and paste it into a browser and it should work. That said, I spoke with Prusa support and I think I resolved the issue (basically, the failures weren't from movement of the extruder), but I can't delete this topic.
RE: Extruder Play
@geekandi - thanks for updating a working to video link.
@milhouse
That MK3 slop is not normal. Either bearings are totally shot, or more likely not properly installed into the extruder case and the case is not holding on to them securely - maybe no lower zip ties or something else interfering with the case closing properly. The movement may not be affecting the problem you were having, but it will cause you lots of grief and should be fixed.
You can ask a moderator to move the thread to the MK3 forums, or even delete it.
RE: Extruder Play
Thanks - and my mistake. Not a Mini. I printed some extruder upgrades anyway so hopefully I can resolve it when I change it out.
