Extruder noise "Clanck" and print not clean
Hello,
I have a printing problem.my first layer prints correctly, no problem, it looks great.
but when it prints the second layer, the movement of the print goes faster and the extruder occasionally makes a "Clanck" noise. and after this noise, the impression becomes not beautiful, as if no filament.
This is the first time I have this problem, it's been 6 months that I have my printers.
I disassembled the extruder, cleaned it up and still have the same problem.
I haven't changed the filament brand, I still use the same one from the Filamentum brand.
See the picture in attached file.
Thnaks for your help.

If extruder clicks, then that means "I'm pushing filament, but filament has nowhere to go". Conclusion: clogged hotend.

Hello
thanks for the answer, but why the first layer is working fine ? the noise come after the first layer ?
the first layer knows where to go, why the second layer doesn't know ?
thanks for your help
RE:
It's hard to guess... I could also say "I'm pushing filament, but filament doesn't go out fast enough" -comes to the same thing. But now we can think: it goes out fast enough in first layer, but not in next layer... If you look in slicer Print Settings>Speed (in Advanced mode), you can see that there's a setting for First layer speed -which is by default slower than for the rest of print.
Btw. when I say hotend is (partially) clogged, I always assume extruder gears are clean (no filament debris inside), that tension settings is about right, and that default settings in slicer are used.
Of course there are other factors that can cause clicking, for example, filament requires higher temperature than you're using (in that case filament can't melt fast enough) and we get clicks. But for that, temperature difference would need to be quite big (nozzle temperature below 200°C).
Maybe some other members will come with better guess, but I still think your hotend is partially clogged.

My printer has this problem too, but it only happens when the nozzle stops extruding and moves. Couldn't it be due to the retraction motion?
I have had clogging problems in the past, but in this case, these noises were always heard during the extrusion of the filament.
RE: Extruder noise "Clanck" and print not clean
I have now seen the attached image. Yes, I also think that the problem is almost certainly due to a partial obstruction of the hotend

Hello,
after many and many tests done with the Prusa Support....my issue still present so Prusa decided to send me a spare part a new assembled hotend.
I think I will receive my new assembled hotend next week...I hope and I will test 🙂
Best regards
