Extruder gear not turning

I just got my Prusa Mini yesterday and it was working fine till today, I was going a second print printing the nut and it stopped extruding. I followed the guide at https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/clicking-extruder-under-extrusion-and-clogging-mini_112011

First step was disconnecting the PTFE tube going from the extruder to the hot end, I heated it up and was able to push it by hand, so no clog there

Next step I took a look at the extruder, I would try to feed the filament out the tube but it wouldn't come out. I put my extruder spinner/indicator from my MK3s on the extruder on the mini, the motor will spin and is working, but the extruder gear is not moving. I tried both loosening and tightening the idler in in both cases the gear would not spin. I tried to research this issue but the only thing I could pull up regarding this issue is the link above. I would appreciate any assistance anyone could offer for this issue.

RE: Extruder gear not turning

I found the solution to my issue:

https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/hardware-firmware-and-software-help/extruder-engine-will-not-turn-gears-in-housing/

the gear attached to the stepper motor shaft was fully loose and was not always catching so had to open it with the instructions available above.
