Differences between PTFE tubes for MK3, MK3S, MK3S+
Hi, so the Prusa store has multiple "models" of PTFE tubes.
Hotend PTFE tube (MK2/S, MK2.5, MK3, MMU2) - Prusa Research (prusa3d.com)
Hotend PTFE tube (MK2.5S, MK3S, MMU2S) - Prusa Research (prusa3d.com)
Hotend PTFE tube (MK3S+, MMU2S) - Prusa Research (prusa3d.com)
Can someone tell the story behind the various PTFE physical features vs the requirements of the Mk3, MK3S, and MK3S+, the differences that result in this "compatibility matrix" of offerings?
(backstory: I ordered a couple of each to make sure I had every spare I could think of, but they were all mixed together when I got them. Not too bad I think, but it would be nice to understand the situation.)
Thank you!

Good morning Joan! Just wanted to check, it looks like you removed the link, maybe to double check it?
Thank you,
Ben

If you search for "trim PTFE" on prusaprinters.org, you get a bunch of articles that describe the various PTFE tubes. But I don't see any site in which all of this is collated into a concise "matrix" that shows printer and respective PTFE requirement.

Thank you both for your help. I am spread thin but in order to maintain momentum I'll add info bit by bit. I'll try to make this thread into a summary. Adding a photo now that shows the difference.
(wow this forum has so many options, "Add Media", "Choose File", AND "Insert/Edit Image" This is totally messing with my hopes of being quick! I've already failed at "Add Media" and pasting an imgur link in there.)

@brslicer
If you could now label the tubes with the systems they’re supposed to work with, we’d have something that should be flagged as a “solution” for this thread.

Science is a slow and arduous process my friend!
Also, how the heck do I embed the photo into my post?

Ah ha! I had tried "attach file" and "insert / edit image", and also I got an error message when I tried to use the "add media" button.
Per @JoanTabb 's link, the answer was right there.
My summary to the best of my ability:
MK3: 50 mm
MK3S: 44.3 mm
MK3S+: 42.3 mm
I have a hard time working with the Prusa manuals, probably because I'm overwhelmed and have a hard time finding the right words, and also not being used to the way they organize information. That's something I need to work on, probably just need to spend more time browsing through their documentation when I'm not in a crisis mode.
From my understanding, the variations in length might be about how close the PTFE tube gets to the direct drive gears. Also redesigns of the relative hotend position might be a factor.
I recently purchased a pre-built E3D hotend and noted that they do not bother with the PTFE taper on either end. The "exit" taper butts up against the heat break if I'm not mistaken, so my guess is that this exit taper is an innovation that could help with keeping a tight transition between the two.

Quick Question here :
Anyone here with a good way to trim a PTFE Tube for the Hotend for a mini ? Maybe with a penicil sharpener ?

-just in case someone would seriously think about that:
PTFE tube chamfer angle must be 120° (most pencil sharpener have angle of about 26°, which is way too steep).
[Mini+] [MK3S+BEAR]
chamfer
There are various little things you can print to chamfer the angle for the mini, in the end i just lightly sand paper it.
