Buddy control board - USB broken
Hi, good morning. I have a Mini+ and the USB-A connector is broken, apparently the plastic piece that holds the pendrive fell off without any reason. I'm wondering if Prusa is willing to replace the whole board, if someone has experience changing the connector itself, or if anyone had this problem before, thanks!
I believe physical damage isn't covered by warranty (but you can try).
If you have soldering iron (and experience using it), then the simplest solution would be, that you remove USB connector, directly solder an USB cable and print a holder for USB connector. That way USB connector becomes way more accessible than originally is.
