After print is finished, nozzle runs into printed structures

After my print is finished, the nozzle returns to the top-left corner of the bed (z=0 too) , but sometimes will run into what I've just printed. Is there any workarounds besides not putting things in that corner? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

What firmware do you use, what Prusa slicer version and do you have any custom goes in the profiles for the end print?

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

Definitely not normal. Initial thought is, sound like some modification to the printer profile. I would revert to stock and see if it still happens. Or post a 3mf project file here so we can check.

I seem to recall there was a firmware bug in an older version that could cause this.  Was fixed ages ago.  So yeah the question of what versions you are using is pretty much spot on.

Looks like I’m using 4.3.1+2759 fw and slicer should be the latest. How do I update it? thanks for the help!

Very old firmware like that and the new slicer will cause this problem. There are some issues updating so many revs of firmware. This thread may help:
