PrusaPrinters.org won't accept file extensions with all caps in some places

Solidworks likes to output a capitalized ".STL" instead of ".stl" for some reason.  When uploading files to prusaprinters.org, this isn't a problem when you browse for the stl (ie. using the Windows "open" interface).  But when you try drag and drop, Prusa thinks that the file type is unsupported. The same issue also happens for ".3MF".  Changing the file extension to the lower case version fixes the problem.  I'm using Windows 10 and Brave web browser.

".STL" instead of ".stl"

   ....

Prusa thinks that the file type is unsupported.

Well, they *are* two different file types...

This is an operating system limitation.  Arguably the slicer should be strict, but Windows has always ignored most of the rules and dumped the confusion on the user.

@diem

PrusaSlicer doesn't care which one it opens.  PrusaPrinters, the website, does in some seemingly unintentional cases however.  And the upper and lower case version are both effectively are the same file format, as there is no other standard that uses that name

@prizmagnetic

The standard doesn't matter.  Unless you take special steps most operating systems will assume that differently capitalised files are different, including different types where that is part of the filename.

@diem

Yes this is exactly what I am saying. There is a bug on prusaprinters.org where it is not handling the extensions as expected
