Printing from Laptop to Mk3
I have a small Dell laptop that has LinuxLite running. I run PrusaSlicer and am able to update my Mk3 firmware from it via USB. It therefore communicates with the printer OK.
I also use the laptop for Cleanflight/Betaflight into RC Quadcopters so it cannot be dedicated to printing, though obviously would be WHILE printing.
I want to be able to print direct from this laptop as I do using Repetier-Host from another old laptop into my other printer, a Fab II Mini, which works faultlessly. (I hate the SD card shuffle!!)
Being familiar with Slic3r I prefer to use that for slicing and prodicing the .gcode files.
I have looked at Octoprint and at Pronterface, but the installation in Linux to other than a RPi looks horrendously confusing, and what I need to do is unclear.
What is the simplest way to do this please?
