How to use M907?
I currently have a screw extruder fitted to my MK3S, as I am doing tests with a more specialized material. The stepper motor used is already connected to a gearbox to increase the torque, as the resistance in the extruder would otherwise be too high due to the material. With higher volume flows/faster printing speeds, there are still stepper losses. As the motor can handle up to 1.68A, I would like to increase the current supply. However, the TMC2130 drivers installed can apparently only supply up to 1.2A.
My questions are:- What is the standard extruder motor current of the MK3S?- Can I use the M907 command in the start Gcode, for example?- How would I have to integrate the M907 command so that it increases the current to 1.1A, for example? (I have seen that you may need to convert the current to a value from 0-63)
