Feature Request: Stop-n-Save
Don't know about the rest of you be there are times I have to exit mid-print due to ongoing RL stuff...
Would it be possible to add a feature where the print can stop at any point along a print job, save its location and power off. Only to be restarted at a later date, using the saved position as a reference ?
Thanks

This is essentially what the power save feature on the Mk3 does. If you pull the plug mid-print when printing from SD card, it can attempt to resume a print. The problem is that the bed will cool off and there's a good chance the print will fully or partially pop off, potentially causing a "blob of doom" if not monitored. I suppose you could maintain bed heat, but that defeats the intent of powering down I would think.

From my own experience I'd say this is more likely to happen than not ☹️
