If that's blowing your mind, try adding a draft shield for two sequentially printed objects.

Just in case you haven't figured this out yet. Create two objects, space them accordingly, select Output options, Complete individual objects:.

then go to Skirt and brim and select "Enable" from the drop down menu, and see what the result is. This has been an issue for years, and years, and the developers have never not once addressed this, yet they have added a multitude of unneeded and non- functional features to the program. Good luck with your observation' I'm sure there's a guy here that will refer you to Github for this. sighting several closed issues as examples to add your voice too.

Regards

If the obect has a brim wider than the draft shield spacing then the sheild is printed on top and benefits accordingly.

Complete individual objects is one of those oddities that is a nod to people who for some reason have poor adhesion and yet insist on plating multiple parts together.  It's only real value is when finishing a near-empty roll of filament with a group of small parts, the first few may complete, one fail and the rest never start..   The XL, Mk4 and (I think) Mini have a slightly more useful option to cancel one object on a multi-parts plate without sequential completion.

Cheerio,
