Blender Boolean vs Join?
When you’re exporting a model (sign base and text) as a STL that has 2 or more parts to it. Is it better to Boolean or Join it together before turning the Blender file into a STL or is it better to just leave it as 2 or more parts?

I always leave them as separate parts, just select both and then export. You end up with a single stl that can later (if needed) be split using Split to in PS. I've had some issues with parts that are joined before exporting.
