ok finally got 20 boards to get the farm automated rather than sd cards , rapid had 250 zeros and they went in minutes but i managed to get some only probs is i got to get some headers and soler them but thats no biggy, hopefully have it all running in a few weeks

Hehe, we got fifty. I will encourage you to wait with the SD flashing, make it the last step. As the next update is at most a few weeks away and re-flashing will be a major pain.

Ok cool I got one machine going a few weeks back with a pi 3b but put it all on the back burner till I could get some zeros . Now got them will have to have a little play , but yep I will wait couple of weeks if a new upgrade is going n it’s way

I know that it's still a WIP, but is there a plan to streamline the flashing process through software such as PrusaSlicer? I would assume that PrusaLink will most likely be embedded into future printers... 😉

There is a plan to make updates easier. It is not a secret anymore, so we can make the repo public and package it now

Don't think we can package it that fast, but depending on your savvy, you'll be able to automate it once the repo is public. We want to make it simpler as time goes on

No problem prob just network 5 to start with and test for a month before I dive straight in to all 20 , yep I have no problem testing running and compiling code

Ok that was epic, never upgraded the firmware on my 20 machines so decided to do that today to bring them all to 3.10.1.
first job was to figure out what each one was weather it was a mk3 / mk3s or mk3s and stick a label on them for future reference , had to do this by looking at the serial number sticker. It was a pain but all done. Then get the trusty laptop and work around them upgrading the firmware. All done only took the hole afternoon . So already to start networking the machines when I decide to tackle it. Also printed the zero mounts and ordered some gpio headers so basically setting myself up for success.
question : if the internet drops out would all the machines stop printing or do they store the sliced files loacally ?.

The files are stored locally, if the print stops for no apparent reason, it's most likely my fault. Just send a log my way and I'll see what I can do.

I finally got ONE a while back for a project and I think I was lucky! All the suppliers, at least here in the US, are perpetually out of them!

it's certainly not the right post here , but i know many will read it .. so would it be possible to have the rambo so mk3s connected with the next wonderful prusaconnect and then install a touch screen like the XXL 😉 even a 4'' or 5'' never mind and then have nice icon on it instead of lcd screen with wonderful line..? any link or idea, i work on the install the Duet2 already but the display is not really what i wish to use later on.
