PrusaLink 64-bit
So the Raspberry Pi Foundation announced that the 64-bit version of Raspberry Pi OS which PrusaLink is based on is now officially out of beta.
While the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 was only released a few months ago, I was curious to know if there are plans to have a 64-bit image released as well. The only issue I know is that the original Pi Zero which is probably used in more 3D printers is 32-bit only and won't be compatible. The regular RasPi 3 and 4's won't have any issues, however.

64 bits would do nothing for PrusaLink. Zero.
The extra bits let a single application address more than 4g of memory. Only a small percentage of Pi4 machines come with 8g. If your application needs that much memory, you probably need something beefier than a pi.
PrusaLink is just python scripts. You could build a 64 bit pi, and self install rather than the pre built image. I think there are instructions for that. Seriously doubt you would notice anything different, other than feeling different, which is sometimes important.

For Zero 2W there might be a noticeable performance uplift: https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=raspberrypi-32bit-64bit&num=1. However, I might assume that Prusa wants to also support old Zero for time being, so this would be no go in such case. But if they would drop support for 0W, in favor of 0.2W this would actually be pretty future proof as well.

Well, like I said, PrusaLink is just Python scripts. Your link suggests a PyBench improvement of about 15% - which is a generic number, and easily within the margin of error. Not all Python scripts are the same.
When the Prusa dudes get further along, I am sure a 64 bit option will be around. Costs them nothing but a few minutes.
But, let us not lose sight of the fact that you are advocating for a 64 bit print manager to drive an 8 bit printer, which squirts out plastic, not all that quickly.
Somewhere, and I can't find it at the moment, are instructions for installing from github. With a bit of tweaking, you could probably get PrusaLink working on a Windows or Mac machine or IBM Z mainframe. Ptython3 is Python3... USB is USB...
