Prusa Connect with Timelapse activation/storage in folder - IDEA
Hy,
was thinking if it is not possible to get a folder in Prusa Connect to create a timelapse of the print?
and to save space on the servers, only available to download during 3 days and after that it's deleted. or any other possibilities, such as storing directly on the connected usb drive.
Maybe also just saving pictures on the usb drive in a folder called timelapse and we have to compile the video.
The quality depends on the camera we would use.
Connecting a phone with prusa connect to use as webcam directly on the printer with a recognition as a cam so it will save an image on every layer change. The images would than be saved on the phone or USB Drive depending on what has more storage. A very old iphone has 32Gb of storage, so planty storage for 1 timelapse video, depending on how it's setted up (every layer, every 2,3,4,5,.... layers for bigger and longer prints.
