Prusa Connect fails to transfer to USB drive
I tried setting up Prusa Connect and seem to be having some problems. If I try to send a gcode file to the MK4 printers USB drive it always fails and breaks the connection. I must reboot the MK4 to re-establish a connection.
I can send files to the MK4 via Prusa Link. I can print files that are already on the USB drive via Prusa Link and Prusa Connect. I have set up the Prusa Slicer to upload to Prusa Connect and when I watch the progress it appears to successfully get the file (in the cloud) but then fails when trying to send it to the USB drive. The USB drive is the original USB drive that came with the printer.
I can home my MK4 thru Prusa Connect.
My local network connection is a wired connection (not WiFi). My Router is an UniFi Dream machine and I'm using Starlink as my network provider.
any help will be appreciated.
RE: Prusa Connect fails to transfer to USB drive
What capacity does the USB stick have?
What firmware does the MK4 have?
I use a 16 GB USB stick with firmware 5.1.2
This works wonderfully.
RE: Prusa Connect fails to transfer to USB drive
Often the file transfer to the printer is slow and for people outside Europe it has been observed to be less than reliable. Sorry about that
RE: Prusa Connect fails to transfer to USB drive
The USB stick is a 32 GB USB Stick (its only using about 350 MB)
The MK4 is using Firmware version 5.1.2+13478
I'm going to poke around and see if I have a smaller USB stick and then Format it for FAT32 to see if maybe that will do the trick.
