Hi, the API key is a less secure way to authenticate compared to the HTTP Digest authentication we're trying to use. You can still set the API key in the config, but for the most part, please try to give the Digest thing a shot. You can change it in PrusaSlicer.

Sorry that we don't release. I would release whenever, but we don't have robust automatic testing, so each release is a lot of work for the testing department. You can install PrusaLink using the instructions on its github page in README. Section Dev Setup or something like that. It's not super complicated. If you get stuck, feel free to ask. This month and the previous month we worked on cameras, it's still kinda buggy and missing some settings but it should (Jo wants it to) come out soon

No i mean that prusa connect doesnt work properly , it mean http error 5xx and the i have no.connection to cloud and pi .... I send the gcode to the cloud via prusaslicer api to connect.prusa3d.com....after that i power on my mk3 and print 🙂 .... But i use it daily ... I miss camera and an mobile app or home assistant plugin (i have found an prusa connect plugin but it use api v2...)  But thank you i working good 🙂

We are stuck on cameras. Everyone is working on that. I don't believe the occasional 5xx is is fixed anywhere. I have an RF shield in the works but I was encouraged to do it as my personal project, so it sits in a pile of those :/ It improved the WIFi reception significantly, but I have a problem with grounding. Would love to finish that.
I do not know about the other stuff, sorry.

As much as I can understand that, I just wish that PrusaLink was built with a modular/plugin approach so that camera plugin development/debugging wouldn't slow down the release of the main PrusaLink package.

I know you work hard, and I truly appreciate every effort put in; it just feels that delivery is slow because pieces of code and features are too "hardwired" to the main core.

I haven't made anything modular (as in community modded it to hell and back) yet, honestly I feel like that's the exception. I imagine one can mod PrusaLink juust fine, it's just that there's not that much interest in doing that. I don't have a module repository and an easy way to turn them on and off, why lose time doing that when there's no modules. But Python as is, is pretty permissive to modifications, so it's possible. So far, there hasn't been a single PullRequest from outside, so there seems to be very weak interest so far.

I would like to tell you something, I always lost the connection to prusa connect, it always showed http error 5xx ... well ... I reinstalled the image and installed everything and when installing I have NO hook at API set ... and have not seen a http 5xx error for 24 hours and the connection is and remains stable. A tip for those who have http errors 🙂

The occasional http error that immediately resolves itself seems to be on the connect side. So as our DevOps magician Martin does hos thing, the frequency should decrease. The RC2 should have these silenced

I don't mean http resolved error, i mean http 5xx error ,where I then  no connection to the cloud connect .... not that you misunderstand it 😀

oh right. I just pushed the rc2 tag, i realized I don't have the release notes. It was supposed to be done today, and it wasn't so i tried and got stuck :/

Hi, this feature is part of 0.7.0 RC2 which is being tested. The image is not out yet. The only option to get it is from the github repository Prusa-Link. Sorry it's taking so long. Thank you
