Layer Height and Speed questions
I have two Connect questions:
- Is there a section in PrusaConnect that shows the current layer height of a print?
- Is there a better way to adjust the print speed slider? The slider is very finicky. A text field or increments (25,50,75) would work better. Currently, I'm using M220 Sxxx in the gcode to make speed adjustments on different layers.
RE: Layer Height and Speed questions
Hi
1) No there is no current layer height display thing. I don't think it's easy to implement either.
2) I agree it's finicky, I would appreciate if the slide direction got flipped. Dragging a left to right slidet top to bottome is just weird. Why did it end up like this is a mystery to me.
RE: Layer Height and Speed questions
Thanks for the reply.
1) That's too bad about the layer height. Because I'm coming from Octoprint, I'm always looking for comparable features that were part of my workflow. Not looking for them all.... just a few.
2) Having a text field would be the most productive. Punch the number you want. click apply. Done. I always use this to set detailed first layers to print slower, then 10o-150% after the perimeters are laid down. I use M220 in my gcode to automate the process throughout the rest of the print.
