Cogged belt & sprocket designer
I don't know if this is the proper place for such a topic, but...
I was designing in FreeCad a small mechanical device for my xTool laser engraver, and needed a cogged belt and two sprockets to synchronize two jackscrews. I decided to try printing the parts on my Mark3S, and it turned out very well. Here's a pic and a screenshot from the FreeCad model.
I would be glad to share the FreeCad model, but I don't know how to make a file attachment in this forum. All the pertinent design parameters are aliased in the FreeCad spreadsheet (ss), such as belt dimensions and pitch, number of teeth for each sprocket, axle-to-axle distance, etc. The belt length is automatically calculated. Change any of the design values in the spreadsheet, and the model is automatically updated. The sprockets were printed with PLA, and the belt with TPU. The Belt is printed inside out, to minimize TPU stringing.

Hi Jack, suggest you post it on Printables 😉
Have fun!
