Ambient temperature

Is it possible to check the ambient temperature with Prusa Connect/Link?

Best Answer by Tojik:

Hi, we have an "ambient temperature" sensor, but the measurement is very high, because the sensor is on the Einsy board or pinda, don't remember. There is no truly ambient temperature sensor on the printer. Sorry

RE: Ambient temperature

Yes the displayed ambient temperature is high and not the enclosure temp. To solve that issue change the name to "Ensy Temperature" Or "Board Temp".  I monitor it because my Ensy board is inside the closure and I have cool air piped to keep it to below 45c. Its important for me to know that cooling is working.  Once I had the extractor fan temperature sensor too close to the side of the closure. Luckily I have the ambient temp display >Support>Temperatures visible when printing ABS and I noticed the issue. Having this temp as an option on Prusa Connect  would be brilliant. In a perfect world I could set a warning level that messages me if it was exceeded and it would display on the telemetry.
