Woke up to this

Had 8 hour print last night.  Went downstairs this morning expecting completed print job and got this instead.  Got most of it cleaned up.   Ordered a new hotbock, Thermistor and Heater.  Will try another test print xyz cube to see how it goes.

@crawlerin

It was hard to tell from octolapse as it plays so fast but yes.  Looks like part lifted and got stuck to nozzle then kept going.

If you want to run a print over night, I would always observe the adhesion of the first layers first.
To remove the blob, I would heat the nozzle, if still possible, to about 250 degrees and let it heat for about 1 hour. If it works well, you can easily remove the largest part from the heating block.

Yeah my suggestion would be that too. Let it heat up to 250C and then see if you can remove a part of it. You can also try cleaning it with a heat-gun but its better to disassemble it first as much as possible.

In contrast to the MK3, the extruder of the Mini can be disassembled quite quickly and easily. You will find it easier to disassemble and you will not risk of damaging surrounding parts.
