Will the Prusa Mini print 18cm tall prints?
Hey guys!
I just ordered a Prusa Mini and watched a review on Youtube where they stated that the Prusa Mini can print 17.8cm tall prints.
I know it´s a bit strange, but I REALLY need to print my prints at 18cm.
So in short, will the Prusa Mini REALLY print 18cm tall prints.
Like, really 😉

I printed sucessfully the Mini Hovercraft from Tom Stanton. The parts are 180mm high and some are 180mm wide.
I also printed a 180mmx180mmx180mm gyroid cube with no problems. It could even move the printhead a bit up when the print was finished.

They wrote: It will print 180mm tall objects (Z dimension). You can see it yourself downloading the app Prusa Slicer. However, if you experience problems, I recommend you to design it 2-5mm shorter to avoid vibration problems.
So that is only IF I experience problems 😉

On the original you can print up to 18cm but there is also a mod out there that has an extended z zxis.
