Why does the Mini do mesh bed leveling at a lower temp?

I've owned a Mini since Feb 2020 and recently got an MK3S+. I noticed the MK3S+ does mesh bed leveling at the print temp. The Mini waits for the temp to drop, does mesh bed leveling then waits for the hotend to reach the print temp. Since both printers are using a SuperPinda, I'm wondering why the Mini still lowers the temp during mesh bed leveling.

It's to avoid Little Dots of Ooze being left all over the print surface during mesh bed leveling. Many of us implement a similar 2 step warmup process on the Mk3 to resolve the same problem. The nozzle is warmed to a "no ooze" temp before mesh bed leveling, and heated to the final temp right before printing starts.
