I got mine just before Xmas.
It's spent more time pulled apart than printing.
Devs are looking into rods and bearing issue, they have shipped me a replacement hot end, one of the test prints stuffed my pei sheet.
Filament jams, socket heads stripping on bolts you name it, it's going on.

m8harry got his just before Christmas, it was one of the very first batches from the new production line. Missing parts, wires too tight, etc...
I feel bad for him. He's still fairly new to 3d printing and doesn't have 10,000 extra parts laying around like I do.
I'm hoping they'll exchange one of the more recent ones for the one he got. The man deserves to have a decent printing experience.

While I truly feel for those who received an early batch printer with issues that do not have the know-how to work on it and fix the shortcomings, I do however, have to reiterate that this was a Pre-Order for a product AND it was brand new so there are ALWAYS problems. That is not meant to invalidate the issues people have but just that their mindset maybe in the wrong place.
I am glad that Prusa Research at least will help all end users and make things right, as they have in the past. and that they continue to improve machines even after they are released unlike MANY other Manufacturers.

Being a first time printer owner in the queue, My impression going is was that Prusa had a much better reputation for machines that 'just work'. I'm a full time 3d modeller, I've had my models printed on a mk3 at work and a friend has 2 of them and printed other stuff for me. I've also been watching the usual suspects on youtube for a few years waiting for a machine that hit my cost/quality/space sweet spot. The Mini was an instant yes when I saw the introduction videos of it.
The wait doesn't bother me, nor the missing firmware features, I know they can be added. But everything Prusa fans, reviewers and friends have said is that you pay the premium for a real Prusa over a Chinese clone for something that works. I'd be gutted if mine has any major issues when it arrives. M8harry should rightfully be demanding a replacement with one that's been tested.

I am printing my first print. The printer is nice and easy to set up. I missed one step and had to go back and fix it.

My order just shipped! 12 Oct, black parts, both sheets, with sensor and roll of filament. Shipped via DHL. Was told by chat that there were a few orders on Oct 12th that still had not shipped yet.
