Joan,
Thanks for the service. I am a moderator on another forum and it is a thankless job.

Et tu @brutusboots?
That hurts! Enjoy your MK3s. I’ve resisted that temptation thus far, I think I can hold on a bit longer. Based on my order date my mini should ship March 17th.
RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
With the mini being my first 3DP I’m busying myself with getting to know PrusaSlicer and will soon dive into Fusion 360.
However, I’d like to know which calibration prints you all use to dial in your printers, other than the obligatory benchy.
Are the PrusaSlicer profiles typically good enough or would it be beneficial to say print a temperature tower for the brand of filament I buy and tweak the profile accordingly?

Did you order the kit?
I think we've placed our orders pretty much at the same time. Mine has shipped yesterday, I've ordered an assembled one though.

I got the kit. You'll most likely be printing before me. Although I may start assembling tonight.

Any of you that received your Mini already in the US, want to give me an idea what the wait is from "shipping" to received?
I ordered on the 14th, so expected start of shipping is 29 Jan, just trying to figure out if it is going to arrive while I am on vacation or not.

Very true. Many folks forget you are volunteers. Same situation on the other forum.

I ordered on 13 Oct early in the day. Still yet to ship. I think you have a little bit of a wait still since no one appears to reporting shipments or deliveries.

Yeah, I was expecting the wait. Just trying to figure out the length of time from being marked "shipped" to it actually being delivered on my doorstep.
Not overly concerned on it shipping on the 29th, just more with the length of time for shipping. Need to figure out if I need to have one of my neighbors grab it for me if I'm on vacation and which one I should have grab it.
We have a bit of a run of porch piracy going on near here...
RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
I will never understand how they can just leave $1000 package on your porch. Like, lock your house, lock your car, but let your $1000 package sit on a porch. It will be all right.
I have come here to chew bubblegum and perfect my MINI ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.

I agree. Same here. A little longer than expected, but We will all survive.

I also am interested in seeing some stats on delivery time to the US. The problem is; those that have their printer are busy playing with it, not hanging out on this thread like us poor unfortunate souls.

For the United States, the shipping time can vary from about 3 days to 14 days. It depends on how quickly the package makes it through customs, room on the plane for the package, what day it was shipped on, and who the last mile carrier is for the actual deliver. If shipped late in the week, it is possible for the package to sit in customs over the weekend on one or both ends if you are really unlucky.
Once you get the shipping information you can request a vacation hold or pick up from their location. This may depend on who does the actual delivery. For me it has been USPS instead of DHL.
RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
I ordered one last night. It's gonna be a while .... 😀

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
Are there any signs if they started shipping again?
RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread
@blackbird
Not from my end.
