RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

Its great to see they've fixed the early issues so quick.

I had a shipment arrive from Prusa yesterday, unfortunately it was just 18 rolls of filament from the Black Friday sale. Looks like I'll be making a fort out of them until sometime late Feb when the mini to melt them with will arrive (my order was Oct 20th)

Here is that latest from Chat just now:

Ok, you ordered on 14.10.2019 and these orders should be dispatched soon. We had some issues that needed to be fixed and it is explained in this article. Please take a look at it

Well, the situation is that we will start shipping again next week. And the shipping table should be updated soon

@munkisquisher

Same situation here, I bought a few spools of prusament back at the maker faire in Rome, and they've been collecting dust for a while now.

Looks like I'll have to wait another month or two before I can open the airtight bags...

That's enough time to model some cool things to print when it arrives!

That's a great idea. I have never modelled something meant to be printed, and I can get familiar with the slicer too.

@minos197

I am in the UK too and do not expect any show until late February or early March. We are still in the EU as far as customs arrangements are concerned until the end of 2020. No worries!

Me I am, coupled with the fact that they are prioritising the mkx  series printers and not the mini. Doesnt give much hope

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

I just got an email from Prusa, I was ready to jump for joy as I thought it was my shipment notification but alas it was just an email about the blog with all the mini issues etc.

Did everyone get the same email?

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

Ordered mine on october 24th, so estimate is between march 4 and march 11 according to the new shipping table. Kinda sucks since I expected to get it in january at the time of ordering it (lead time at that time was december-january iirc), and then I assumed february after the recent delay.

Can't help but wonder why they didn't stockpile more units before announcing it. But well, glad they've been able to sort out many of the early issues at least.

I'm glad they committed to some tangible dates and don't have a problem with these short delays in favor of product quality. Services like these are very rare and worth giving some time even if it goes against the grain of the zeitgeist.
