Should we maybe all write an E-MAIL to Prusa Suppport with rhe request that they Please give an Official Statement what They Fix and How the Shipping Plan is?

I'm sure when they finish doing their work, they'll update.  Wouldn't make sense for them to update anyone right now if they are in the midst of fixing something.

Not sure I agree.  Transparency will attract more customers.

Now I am worried... I'm one of the first "lucky" ones to receive a Mini before Christmas. Now I feel like a beta tester paying full price for an unfinished product - will there be a hardware update for us early testers?

Same here. Prusa have always looked after early adopters with free upgrades as far as I recall so I can't imagine they will change that now. Nevertheless it is something to definitely keep a close eye on.

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

Having received my mini over a month ago, I had no major issues at all. Only the regular problems 3d printing comes with.

So I stay relaxed waiting for changes to come.

I ordered mine on the 29th December but, after reading through this (long) thread I'm not really expecting it to arrive until at least April.
I can wait, especially after reading that they are making some improvements.
This will be my first 3D printer so really looking forward to it.
I can agree with others though, more feedback from Prusa would be nice.

Let's hope Prusa will do the same with the Mini.

I don't mind doing final testing, reporting issues and finding solutions, as long as it end up with full working printer in the end.
I mind if I have to pay for faulty or replaced parts.

Have a look at my models on Printables.com 😉

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

After I ordered a Mini, I took a look at larger format printers and ended up buying a Core XY style printer.  I find myself constantly comparing it to my two Prusa I3 MK3 printers with a bit of sadness.

There are so many little details that the Prusa printers just get right. Some of them are obvious, such as an out of the box slicer shipped with the printers (or available for download) that is pre-configured with correct settings.

And although I sprung for the magnetic printing sheet, it just isn't as nice as the ones on my Prusa printers. It is very thin and doesn't have the nifty alignment pins.  Minor things perhaps, but noticeable.

The most annoying problem is the Bowden tube getting hung up on the Y-Axis.

Mind you, there are things that I like, such as the 400x400x500 print area which fits a gap in my printing capabilities.

Over all I'm happy I purchased it; however, I'm really looking forward to the arrival of my Mini and a later announcement by Prusa of a new, larger format Super-Prusa!

Which Core XY did you buy?

43144 here, I sent a message to support, they said mine should be shipping sometime in January. This will be my fifth or sixth 3d printer but my first Prusa. I'm very excited.

You will love it once you get used to the improvements over other printers.

I think either no one updates the google sheet anymore or they stopped shipping units for some reason? 🙄

@geoper2

If you read back several pages it appears as though there is some sort of delay due to a refactoring of parts or some sort of minor upgrade to the process that is preventing orders from being shipped out. HOWEVER, all of that is circumstantial as it is not information posted directly by a Prusa employee.

@littleneutrino that is wrong, I have asked PR support by email and the answer I have gotten got verbatim copied into the forum. Thus; the answer: there is a slight delay because of improvements of the issues reported in the forum of the first batch. Tthe shipping table in the help pages will get filled in the latter part of January.

I am not saying that is not true, I was just stating that there has been no official post of this information only 3rd person information from people like you who have contacted support. I am not saying I dont believe you, however, Prusa support has not officially posted it anywhere.

They have stopped - no idea why.  Chat will not say why.

I did the same and got a response from both chat and email that mind would likely ship last week - no shipment to me seems to confirm the delay.  Fingers crossed for next week!

RE: Unofficial Prusa Mini Wait Thread

Very typical for Prusa to stop shipping when a problem is found so they can ship improved units rather than have to ship upgrades later.
