I am just hoping mine actually ships with the Filament Sensor, I added it after the initial order via support chat, and Paypal for payment, and my order form has not been updated to reflect that its on there. but im not really all that worried about it especially being that its external to the device, so if / when it eventually shows up if they dont tack it into the box I can just pop it on there.

Just as a reference for others, my Mini's build date was 17th Dec
It will be interesting to see if any of the issues others were having are also in mine (I read somewhere that a Mini with issues was built on the 4th Dec)

Yeah - for Mini's that have already been delivered, but look at the date quoted!

I contacted chat again. .
I ordered at the 15th so i was hoping to get it by now or the coming days.
They could not say when they would ship it, it would probably be in January.
I have to say the way prusa handles this is beyond incompetence. They have had time to scale up their logistics. And just looking at the numbers, just 3 days from launch and they can not say anything more than sometime in January is just pathetic. This way they will not make a dent in the Chinese competition soon.
New orders are still getting it in April. Scale you guys!

I've also ordered on 15th so I guess I'm gonna be lucky if those orders will be shipped at in second half of the month.
On the other hand I hope that Prusa will draw concussions from the initial batch and pay more attention to the assembly quality control.
They are in rush, regardless of the initial success currently it sounds like a poisoned chalice. If they don't speed up number of dissatisfied customers will increase due to long delivery time, on the other hand too much rush could potentially introduce mistakes or lower the standards.
Lucky it's my n+1 printer but I'm really looking for receiving a compact and robust machine.

What I am annoyed about is that for some reason I got the 2nd class citizen/snail-mail notification of the new printer. I don't know why, but I didn't get an email until late on the 13th/early 14th EU time. I ordered with in a few hours of getting the email, but I'm way down the down the list. I know it is New Years, but it seem like the shipments have stalled out. That Prusa wasn't really forthcoming about what the queue looked like either.
I'm willing to become a supply chain investor if I'm going to be on the front of the line. If I'm going to be in the back of the line, I'll wait until supply and demand even out and I'm not floating them cash.
