Four from 30th10

Three orders were marked as delivered.

At last my order from 19th October has been shipped.

They changed GLS to UPS because GLS is no more available for Italy.

Is this the reason for the delay?

Since the weekend I'm also waiting for my Prusa Mini... i.e. I ordered one 🙂
Already read a lot of this thread and really looking forward to August. Up till now I'm using a quite old Pursa-Clone on which I changed lots of Parts and added numerous upgrades... which makes him not the most reliable printer 😉

This is my first huge test print. It went through 36 hours with no major issues apart from a little bit of stringing. It's a Tardis Dice Tower, you throw the dice into the top and they come out at the bottom.

You know: I miss checking this thread now my Mini was delivered on Saturday! Withdrawal symptoms....Just a quick farewell to this thread then. Now, on day four, it is printing beautifully! Here are my tips to everyone and especially NEW Mini owners: (do this even before printing anything)!

1) Perform a cold-pull - see https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/cold-pull-mini_126399

2) Re-adjust the hot end - see the https://manual.prusa3d.com/Guide/How+to+change+a+hotend+PTFE+tube+-+MINI/1505?lang=en#_ga=2.211248662.2088955744.1585904387-983910142.1583261407

3) Set MINDA height

4) Adjust extruder intake - page 38 of the manual

5) Load filament

6) Perform first layer calibration (from 0)

This should get you up and going without any issues!

How long did it take for you guys when you got the shipping mail with tracking code until the Prusa Mini got handed over to the postal service?

I got the shipping email !

 I ordered 30th October, and delivery isn’t due until 21st April as I chose DHL economy. I’ll update the spreadsheet later.

Fedex has marked my shipment as delayed out of their control.  Understandable though, given the situation I guess.

Like @bertuk, my Mini recently arrived (yesterday/Monday) so I may miss my multiple-times-per-day check-in on this thread and the spreadsheet.  

I did everything he recommended except the cold pull.  I did try looking down in the hot-end once it was apart and it looked like metal, although it is pretty hard to see in there even with a good head light!  I did this as part of my assembly, so it wasn't even powered up yet when I was looking, much less having any filament in it.

One other thing I did was to get the latest firmware, since the thumb drive came with 4.0.4 but they released the 4.0.5 yesterday before I started setting it up.

I also had read lots about Live-Z calibration Jef Jordan's way and more at Bob Cousin's page.  For a 1st timer like me I found this a much better way to get it right than the built-in wizard.  If you follow this method, be sure to go all the way to page 34 of the comments and grab Joan's gcode that actually works right for the Mini.  You can see my comments there as well trying to figure things out for the Mini.

My first multi-layer print not from the Live Z adjusting was a CaliCat with one little string for a whisker!

wohooooo - after a long time reading (waiting) - I get hyped 🙂

#356329 shipped which means around 350 printers to go and I do get mine 🙂

I am still hoping that I work in home office when it arrives 😉

btw. is there a website, blog post etc which collects the most important articles and todos for new mini owners? I always find it hard to find those things in the forum. Not the best forum software in use here 🙁

Oh, mine was ordered on 1st11 too, which means, I should be up next 🙂 - hopefully - we all know, Prusa-Time is calculated differently 🙂

Spreadsheet updated. Also I had an email from DHL to say it should be delivered 14th April.

Is there a reason why the spreadsheet link in post#1 is not editable - I had to search for the link for the editable version ?

You have to remove the "htmlview" at the end in order to make it editable.

I had chosen dhl economy too and it only took three days to arrive, even though they said it was gonna take more than a week. Fingers crossed for you...
