I had to increase the tension on the extruder.

Well,  now I'm getting nervous.  Mine hasn't shipped yet (14OCT order). I leave on vacation right after work today, and I'll be gone for a few weeks. I've told some one that it may come while I'm gone, and I'm hoping that they will be watching for it. 

Last 3 digits of my order # "666". 

This shouldn't be a cause for alarm, should it?

That is my exact story.  The threaded the needle and I got it before my vacation.  Hopefully, it till hold till you get back.  You could chat and see if they can hold it till you return.

Were you ever able to get it to print with the TXT plate?  I'm really struggling.  I'm surprised there's not a thread about this yet.

That was response to the question whether there was a single printer shipped yesterday according to the sheet. I just replied without quote, my fault.

There are even heaps of posts complaining about problems with powder-coated sheets.

I can't confirm the problems, though. After receiving it I cleaned the plate according to the known procedure and since then everything is fine. Even with PLA.

But if I have a model that tends to warp I still prefer the smooth sheet for PLA just for the extra bit of adhesion.

Don't touch the sheet with bare hands.

1. Whip both sites with soapy water and clean paper towels
2. Rinse with clear warm water
3. Do a dry wipe using clean paper towels
4. Use the preheated bed (85°C) to dry it completely and to prevent rust
5. Let it cool down
6. Do a final wipe with IPA
7. Don't touch it with bare hand ever again

I responded to the wrong message.  I am not sure 7 is needed.  You can touch the edges.
